The Sky Garden House – Resort Style Luxury
Known as the “Sky Garden House”, this luxury home is nestled on the banks of a waterway inlet to Noosa Heads Beach in Queensland, and is the first of two adjacent properties designed by Chris Clout Design, that Glasshape were chosen to supply TemperShield® 12mm (1/2 inch) clear bent toughened (tempered) glass for the two story curved feature Staircase.
Glasshape partnered with Frameless Shower Installations on this significant project, initially providing them with Digital Measuring Services, to capture the as-built concrete staircase form during its construction phase. Glasshape went on to process the Laser Scan Data, creating a 3D Computer Model of the Staircase, to which was added Glasshapes signature TemperShield® bent & toughened (tempered) Architectural Glass. The result of using Digital Measurements assures an accurate fit and finish of the Glass which marries perfectly with the Polished Concrete Staircase.
The finished Staircase stands testament to the combined efforts and expertise shared by all involved in this architectural masterpiece, that we are extremely proud to share with you.
