Anti-Bandit Glass is a laminated security glass consisting of two or three plies of float glass laminated together with a plastic interlayer up to 3mm in thickness. It is designed to resist manual attack and to delay access into a protected area for a short space of time. The increased effort and time to create an opening through the laminated glass layers serves as a deterrent and thwarts further attempts by would-be burglars or opportunist smash and grab criminals. Anti-bandit glass (sometimes known as Suicide Cell glass) ranges in thickness from 7.9 – 16.7mm.
